Divemaster

Are you ready to “Go Pro”?

The PADI Divemaster course prepares candidates to take a leadership role while conducting scuba diving activities. Divemasters are certified to conduct ReActivate, Discover Local Diving, lead snorkelers, and Discover Scuba Diving as a DSD Leader.

The Dirty Adventures divemaster trainee program includes hands-on, practical experience training – you’ll get plenty of opportunities to organize dive boats, assist with classes, and guide clients on fun dives. Basically, if we do it, you do it too!

All candidates are required to undergo our application and interview process in order to be accepted into our divemaster trainee program. We believe in mentoring our divemaster trainees and preparing them for a career in the dive industry. If you want to undergo the divemaster course for the sake of being able to call yourself a divemaster, we are probably not the shop for you.

As a future dive professional, candidates are expected to own their own equipment and master the art of bubble rings. If you’re interested in becoming a divemaster with Dirty Adventures, please fill out our application form here

Not yet 18? If you’re a high school student thinking about a career in marine biology, underwater archeology, or want to spend your summer learning about a retail business, ask us about completing the Junior Divemaster course as part of a summer internship!

Assistant Instructor

Already a divemaster but not ready to become a full instructor?

The Assistant Instructor rating will allow you to independently conduct the Bubblemaker and Seal Team programs, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Coral Reef Conservation specialties, as well as Discover Scuba Diving workshops, if you are not already a DSD Leader. Teaching these courses is a great way to see if you would enjoy taking the step to becoming a full instructor and being able to teach more advanced courses!

If you completed your Divemaster course with us, please email us to discuss and register your interest in the next Assistant Instructor course. If you did not complete your Divemaster course with us, please fill out the application form below.
